My husband stayed here on his way home from Alaska. He got a full hookup. The mornings were cold so he is used a heated hose. The site was level and grassy so set up was easy. He knew the campgrounds was near a RR track but he figured he was tired enough to not care. The trains do go by all night so a light sleeper may have some difficulty. The facillities were spotlessly clean and he said there was plenty of hot water in the shower. The owners were very nice and helpful. He did not try for TV reception. The wifi connection came across as unsecured so he did not use it. Would he stay there again? Yes.

If you are looking for a small but spacious rv campground where you can walk and explore the area, Creekside is awesome. The campground and facilities are lovely and clean. The owners are very nice and the huge open grassy land surrounding the park is a fantastic place for your dogs to frolic. There is even a lovely creek that winds through the property and "chirping" frogs that leap into the water if you get too close and wild turkeys. The town of Chappell is within easy walking distance and has a well-stocked grocery store. Across the road leading into the park is a memorial to the 10 souls who were killed during WWII in a B-24J Bomber crash that occurred about two miles outside of Chappell. Next to the memorial is a lake with a bike/walking path. My husband wanted to spend more time here and we'll definitely be back.

Owners were very nice. Restrooms and showers are clean. Very inexpensive no frills park. Office has many cool antiques. Saw deers eating by their creek. Would stay here again and recommend to anyone!!

Agree that this is a nice park. People are friendly, the restrooms are clean and there's a nice open area for walking dogs. The bowling alley is just up the street and just north of the bowling alley across the street is a small, well-stocked and well priced supermarket. The older gentleman at the park has a woodworking shop and occasionally sells chairs and other items from the shop. Check out the wooden chairs and foot rest they are exceedingly comfortable.🚨train noise may be a problem for some. After the first two or three I never heard them. I also sleep like a log.

The bad: train WHISTLES. There is a railroad crossing about 75 yards from the park. During the hours of the night when I was awake---which was all of them due to the train whistles---there were four to five trains per hour, each one blasting its whistle five times approaching the crossing.The good: neat, well kept, run by a charming 82 year old guy.Bathrooms spic and span, plenty of hot water and water pressure, and the shower head high enough for a six-footer to stand under. Level gravel/grass pull-throughs. A bargain for full hook-ups at $25 a night if you can get past the train whistles. There is an adequate eatery in an old bowling alley within walking distance (the old guy can tell you the number of steps it takes him to get there). It wasn't crowded, it was very low key. If it weren't for the trains I would give it a 4.5. As it is, I regretfully won't be staying there again.
